Specific permissions, age-appropriate controls and honest records support a more careful experience.
The public website and the private app
Anyone can visit the landing page. Access to the app’s private data requires authentication and the corresponding authorization. A little-known public URL is not a private area.
Age and guardian controls
Athletes under 13 do not get profile-photo upload, direct social connections or purchases in their athlete account. The authorized guardian manages the relevant controls. Coach evaluations require an athlete aged 13 or older and event permission.
Sharing inside and outside Player Goals
These are separate guardian choices. Permission to share internally does not authorize external image export. Saving an image or using the device’s share sheet still checks the applicable external permission and acquired Card access.
An image and a private link are different
An authorized Card image can be exported without creating a private hosted link. A private share link, when available and authorized, is a credential with its own validity and revocation rules. A company website link does not open the athlete’s private history.
A Card does not grant broad access
Sharing must not reveal private reflections, unrelated athletes, other Cards, future schedules, a home address or guardian contact details. Under-13 Cards use an abstract identity without an athlete photograph.
Control and historical integrity
Permissions can be reviewed by the authorized guardian. Preserve recorded facts and their origin; do not rewrite an old result to fit a new goal. A recipient may retain an exported image, so export choices deserve care.
Clear limits
Technical controls are not a claim of complete moderation or a certification of legal compliance. The full minor-consent operation has not been launched. Public signup remains closed while the controlled experience is tested.
