Getting started
What is Player Goals?
A multi-sport tool for choosing personal goals, recording observations and keeping Performance Cards. The athlete leads the choices; a parent or guardian supports the journey.
Who chooses the goals?
The athlete chooses what they want to work on. A responsible adult can help with preparation and observation without turning the goals into pressure or a comparison with other athletes.
Can I create an account now?
Public signup is temporarily closed. Existing accounts can sign in. Adding an icon to your phone does not create a new account.
Do I need to download an app?
You can use Player Goals in a supported browser or add its web app to your home screen. See the illustrated guide below.
Does it work without internet?
Core features require an internet connection. Do not assume a plan, observation or Card has been saved until the app confirms it. Full offline use is not promised.
Cards & credits
What does one Card credit unlock?
In the current flow, one credit permanently unlocks a match’s Performance Card in the five included styles. Buying credits and confirming a Card unlock are separate actions.
Will opening my album use another credit?
No. Reopening an acquired Card, switching between its included styles and using an authorized export do not consume another credit. The album keeps acquired Cards.
Why did sharing send a link instead of an image?
The company link and the Card image are different actions. Use Share Card for the image and Copy Player Goals link for the website. Image export still requires the applicable authorization.
Where does Save Image put my Card?
The web app downloads a PNG. The destination depends on the device and browser. On iPhone it may appear in Files or Downloads; open it and use Share → Save Image to put it in Photos.
Where do I buy credits or a plan?
Purchases go through the signed-in app and its available options. Public pages do not confirm payment or grant access. The current checkout is a Stripe test environment, with no real charge.
Family & privacy
How are athletes under 13 protected?
Their athlete account does not offer profile-photo upload, direct connections or purchases. The responsible guardian manages the applicable controls. A company QR does not open the athlete’s private history.
Are internal and external sharing the same permission?
No. Sharing inside Player Goals and exporting outside it are separate choices. For protected accounts, the guardian must authorize the applicable external sharing.
Does Player Goals guarantee better performance?
No. Records support reflection; they do not guarantee athletic improvement or a professional career. Context and time actually observed matter.
