How it works

A shared conversation with distinct responsibilities.

The athlete chooses a focus. Authorized observations can add context. Your technical perspective remains separate from another person’s record.

Choose

The athlete selects goals and measurable targets.

Play

The competition remains the athlete’s experience.

Observe

Authorized users record the occurrences they see.

Discuss

Use the available evidence to suggest a next step; the athlete chooses.

Why Player Goals

A clearer starting point for feedback.

The aim is to support a thoughtful conversation, with the limits of the available evidence in view.

A specific focus

Goals help the athlete explain what they are trying to develop.

Context over isolated totals

Consider observed time, position and circumstances before interpreting a count.

Every perspective has its place

Know who watched the game and what they recorded. A useful conversation starts with that clarity.

Development with purpose

A technical role adds context to the athlete’s journey.

Each observation keeps its author and helps support a conversation about what happened. The athlete can keep that moment in a Card; your role is to help them reflect on the experience.

Clear permissions

Technical evaluation has clear boundaries.

Coach and Technical Staff evaluation of athletes under 13 is prohibited by Player Goals policy.

Safety & privacy
  • Evaluation requires a confirmed athlete age and the necessary authorization.
  • Access depends on the applicable relationship and event permissions, not a global role alone.
  • An observation remains identified as an observation. A technical evaluation keeps its own authorship.
