How it works

A simple cycle with room to learn.

Player Goals can complement conversations about individual sporting development. It does not replace school administration or team operations.

Plan

The student-athlete chooses goals for a game.

Participate

The match takes place in its real team context.

Observe

Authorized people record what they actually see.

Reflect

The athlete considers the evidence and decides on a next step.

Why Player Goals

Individual development within a collective experience.

Give the student-athlete a way to explain their focus and reflect on their experience, without reducing them to a score.

Responsibility by choice

Invite commitment while respecting the athlete’s ability to revise a goal.

A complementary tool

Existing school and team systems continue to handle their own calendars, rosters and administration.

A conversation over time

Records may add context when their coverage, author and circumstances are understood.

Development with purpose

Plan. Play. Observe. Reflect. Choose again.

Give student-athletes space to explain what they want to improve, reflect on a game and consider the next challenge. The school and authorized adults can support that conversation while respecting each athlete’s choices and privacy.

Clear permissions

A school relationship is not blanket permission.

Each account still needs the applicable permissions; school affiliation does not open an athlete’s private history.

Safety & privacy
  • Guardian controls continue to apply to minors where required.
  • Coach and Technical Staff evaluation of athletes under 13 remains prohibited.
  • Participation does not promise grades, talent identification, scholarships or professional selection.
